Itinerary

Day 1, Saturday August 20, 2011 - Arrival in Sarajevo
Upon arrival to Sarajevo airport meet and greet with your tour director and transfer to your hotel. Lunch at your hotel, then time to relax. Around 4:00 pm, we will visit the Roman Catholic Cathedral, take a walk through Ferhadija (center town), continue to gazi husrev bey’s mousque and finish our tour by a visit to the Bazar Bascasija. Evening and dinner at leisure (not included). Overnight in sarajevo. (Lunch included)

Day 2, Sunday August 21, 2011 - In Sarajevo
Breakfast at your hotel. Sarajevo, capital of the republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has been influenced by a number of cultures and civilizations. On your morning sightseeing tour, visit the national museum of Bosnia and tunnel museum. After lunch in a local restaurant, transfer to Vrelo Bosne for a stroll. Evening walk through Mejdan park. Evening and dinner at leisure (not included). Overnight in sarajevo. (Breakfast and lunch included)

Day 3, Monday August 22, 2011 - Sarajevo and Visoko
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning depart to Visoko, a city in central Bosnia with rich cultural heritage. Upon arrival, meet with Dr. Sam Osmanagic followed by a lecture. Lunch at a local restaurant and in the afternoon, visit the tunnels of Ravne. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in visoko. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Day 4, Tuesday August 23, 2011 - In Visoko
After breakfast, lecture with Dr. Osmanagic. Then full day to discover the pyramids of Visoko followed by lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the top of the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of Love. Free time for meditation. Evening and dinner at leisure (not included). Overnight at your hotel in Visoko. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Day 5, Wednesday August 24, 2011 - In Visoko
Breakfast at your hotel. Full day to discover the pyramids of Visoko. Visit to the Pyramid of the Moon. Lunch in a local restaurant. Then time for meditation at the Pyramid of the Moon. Evening and dinner at leisure (not included). Overnight at hotel in Visoko. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Day 6, Thursday August 25, 2011 - Visoko – Zavidovici- Visoko
Breakfast at your hotel. Today we visit Zavidovici, the largest site in Bosnia, known for stone balls. It is the first place in Europe which was established an archeological park of stone balls. The site contains approximatively 40 stone balls of enormous size. One stone ball has actually been moved to the local town square where it has been repurposed as a fountain. The greatest concentration of stone spheres is found in Grab, in the immediate viscinity of Zavodovici. Lunch in a local restaurant. In a shallow valley on the outskirts of the village, tens of them – some complete, some broken- are located in a now dry creek bed. Return t Visoko. Rest of the day at leisure. Evening and dinner at leisure (not included). Overnight at hotel in visoko. (Breakfast and Lunch included)

Day 7, Friday August 26, 2011 - Visoko and Medjugorje
Breakfast and free time in Visoko. Afternoon departure for Medjugorje. Dinner and overnight at hotel in Medjugorje. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 8, Saturday August 27, 2011 - Medjugorje and Mostar
Morning at leisure in Medjugorgje. Lunch on your own before departure (not included) then transfer to Mostar. En route, visit Kravice waterfalls, national park Hutovo Blato. Continuation toward Mostar. Visit Pocitelj and Buna where you will have dinner. Overnight at your hotel in Mostar. (Breakfast and Dinner included)

Day 9, Sunday August 28, 2011 - Departure from Mostar
Breakfast and transfer to Sarajevo airport for your homebound flight. (Breakfast included)
